Let's just begin with the fact that I'm sorry I didn't uploaded a blogpost every end of the month - like I promised - with everything I made in my art journal that month. To be honest: there was not much to show. I didn't really paint that much in my Art Journal. I already explained it in an earlier blogpost: I was very busy and I was working on actual paintings that took a lot of time.

Okay.... So I'm a bit ashamed to tell you this, but there hasn't been much art journaling going on the past month. Therefore, I don't have much to show you.
It began so well, the first days of february, but then I was too busy with other things, couldn't find the time, or forgot to bring my artjournal kit along. And if I did take it with me, I didn't have the time for it, or I just didn't feel like painting. One of my new years resolutions was to keep an art journal and paint or draw something every day. Well, although I didn't paint something every single day of the past month, I did paint a lot more then I used to do. I even brought my journal to work, so I could paint in my lunchbreak and in the train back home. To keep myself motivated and to make it more of a habit to paint something every day. From now on I will post an update of my art journal every last day of the month.
As one of my new years resolutions was to keep an art journal, I had an excellent excuse to go shopping! I needed paint and thingies to take with me, so I didn't have to look for everything in my art studio every day, but could just keep it in my bag and take it with me wherever I go.

BLOGOn my blog I write about the process of improving my skills, about grabbing every chance I get to become more experienced and about learning from ups and downs. Besides that, I write about everything that inspires me, like film, photography, paintings and psychology.
