I'm officially all grown up now! Mentally, I feel like a 20-year-old and physically I feel like I'm at least 40 (I really need to work out more).
So if we take the average I am indeed 30.

Today is the Day of Photography! So, I thought it would be nice to do the Photography Tag for once. Interested in how I started, what kind of pictures I like the most and what I would like to achieve?
It's been a while since I posted something new on my blog, but I wanted to wish you a very happy Christmas, with all your loved ones. And if you are alone at Chrismas, I hope you are still having a nice day and bought something nice for yourself or cooked yourself your favorite meal.
I'm celebrating Christmas at our home in Ghent (yes, we moved to Ghent past november!) with Niels and all our cute pets. We're not doing anything special. We're going to visit the christmas market, maybe go ice skating and we're having a 3-course dinner at home. Enjoy your day! It's already been a while since 2017 has ended, but I still wanted to make a sort of summary of my past year. It's difficult to do so, but I think I managed to put my 2017 in a blogpost! In the past year I went to Berlin, Budapest and Barcelona, had a pug and a whippet for two weeks, picked up photography, participated in Drawing Days, worked on a bunch of paintings and so on.
Because it's a lot, I did my best to keep it short, but you should be prepared to see lots of pictures! I haven't been uploading any blogarticles the past months and I also didn't paint that much in my art journal, like I planned to in my very first article this year about my new years resolutions. So what have I been up to?
On the first of january this year I wrote a blogpost about 2016 and what my new years resolutions for 2017 are. Now that it's almost april I want to look back on these resolutions, to see if I made something of it. Are you curious as well?
Last year was a year of many first times, fun and excitement. I went couchsurfing in Vienna, visited my brother-in-law in Copenhagen, got a new pair of glasses and two adorable pet rats, worked as a costume assistent on the set of a short film, went to the best hippie party you can imagine, gave filmworkshops to a bunch of kids, moved to a bigger apartemet where I now have my first real art studio - *takes deep breath to break long sentence* - organized an art event and followed a workshop in illustrating childrensbooks.
Do you notice anything? I have done nothing creative for myself. I didn't create. Everyone has his or her own little obsessions. Well, so do I and I thought it would be nice to talk about them. Some of them are pointless and perhaps a little bit stupid, others are a true blessing, if I may say.

BLOGOn my blog I write about the process of improving my skills, about grabbing every chance I get to become more experienced and about learning from ups and downs. Besides that, I write about everything that inspires me, like film, photography, paintings and psychology.
