As one of my new years resolutions was to keep an art journal, I had an excellent excuse to go shopping! I needed paint and thingies to take with me, so I didn't have to look for everything in my art studio every day, but could just keep it in my bag and take it with me wherever I go. Art journalI bought a simple book with blank pages (the same I also use for notes etc.) in a bookshop and painted the cover so I wouldn't confuse it with other notebooks I own. PaintI bought this paint box because it has a lot of colours and is very thin. It is a product from the brand Pelikan. It used to incluse a brush but I'm afraid I already lost it. WaterI use a tiny jar of the brand Mason Jar to take water with me. ToolsIn ACTION, a shop where you can buy almost everything for very low prices, I bought this very useful map with brushes and a palette! I'm very happy with it. In my toolkit I also carry a pencil, an eraser (the yellow thing) and a tiny piece of cloth. The eraser is refillable and makes it easy to erase very small or thin areas. The cloth is like 1/4th of a regular cleaning cloth. I use it to dry my brushes or to make sure I don't have to much paint on them. Do you also have an art journal kit? And what do you recommend me to add to this?

BLOGOn my blog I write about the process of improving my skills, about grabbing every chance I get to become more experienced and about learning from ups and downs. Besides that, I write about everything that inspires me, like film, photography, paintings and psychology.
