Well, as you might know, I love to experiment a bit every now and then. So, I bought a projector and asked Julie (a model I worked with once) and Alisa ('my' make-up artist) if they would like to experiment with me on using projections of different patterns and colours. They we're very enthusiastic about the idea so we set a date and went for it. This editorial got published in the october issue of PENIDA Magazine and part of it got published in the november issue of MARIKA Magazine. I have a fully stocked art studio with a lot of stuff I bought thinking "maybe this will come in handy sometime" and so I made some pictures of stuff and send them to Julie and Alisa. As you can see I can get enthusiastic about almost anything. Alisa said that the mosaic stones (down on the right) could be cool and ofcourse the confetti (second picture at the top). We eventually also used the plastic foil (first picture). We planned the shoot on the 27th of september and worked all day to try out a lot of different things. Here are some backstage photo's (and Instagram stories) of the make-up and the mess we made. Now you know why I gave it the titel "A Playfull Mess", cause eventually, that is what it all was. We had a lot of fun while doing this shoot. Playing around, making mess, throwing confetti all over the place. Here are some of the results: Do you also like to mess around a bit and experiment?

BLOGOn my blog I write about the process of improving my skills, about grabbing every chance I get to become more experienced and about learning from ups and downs. Besides that, I write about everything that inspires me, like film, photography, paintings and psychology.
