'Gavin: Leven met schizofrenie'

2012 - present

Since a couple of years I am working on a documentary about my brother, Gavin, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia when he was 24 years old.

In this documentary I interview different people, including Gavin himself and his parents, brother, stepmother and -father,
about his youth, the moment of the diagnose and what happened since then. 

With this documentary I want to show the other side of schizophrenia. The side people don't know, or would never expect. Gavin became a whole other person since he got diagnosed, and I mean this in the most positive way. ​​

Gavin suddenly past away in March 2019 at the age of 42.
