Here are the art supplies I bought since my last shoplog. I also bought a lot of softpastels, but I'll make a different shoplog about all of this. Gold and copper leafsI love to apply golden accents on my illustrations and thought that it would maybe be nice to try this out with gold leaf or copper leaf. I hope I will find the time soon to experiment with it! POSCA markersI never used POSCA markers before (always the cheaper kinds), but I wanted to try it out. I started with only white and gold for details in illustrations, but was so happy with them that I kept on ordering more colours. 'SKIN' Watercolor setI bought this cute watercolor set on AliExpress. It only has skintones and I would love to try it out on portraits. Haven't used it yet, but I shall write a review when I have made something with it. Fine-art paintbrushesEvery now and then I buy a set of very thin brushes on AliExpress. I use them for details in illustrations. These are very nice, they are very soft and are comfortable to hold. Tombow brush pen in skintonesI bought these skin-coloured Tombow brush pens at Pipoos, a shop with art supplies in Ghent. It says they are water-based, but unfortunately you can't mix them with water. White and golden gelpensI always buy golden and white gelpens whenever I see them, cause I use them A LOT in my illustrations. A suitcase filled with art suppliesI bought this wooden suitcase filled with art supplies, just for the wooden suitcase (wanted to give the art supplies away to a child, thinking they would be of horrific quality), but actually, it aint that bad! What did you recently bought for your artwork?

BLOGOn my blog I write about the process of improving my skills, about grabbing every chance I get to become more experienced and about learning from ups and downs. Besides that, I write about everything that inspires me, like film, photography, paintings and psychology.
